Malarkey's Song List

Gail has always loved music, and she took the usual piano lessons in school in Winnipeg Manitoba. It wasn't until "New Wave" arrived in 1983 that Gail began to experiment with music, particularly on her new synthesizer. She played synth, sang and wrote songs for Victoria B.C. bands "The Slip" and "Hoi Polloi". Eventually she moved to Vancouver where she and Karl formed "Helen Gone", a band that morphed over time from rock to what they liked to call "acoustronica". They released two independent CD's, Real Real Gone, and Happy Enough, and received regular airplay on the CBC.

Living in Kelowna and playing Celtic and original music with The Malarkeys is Gail's idea of a good time!

She also loves film, art and design and you can see and hear more on Gail's website

Coming soon! a new Malarkey's song Damn Fine Spin, based on the cycling exploits of her damn fine son, Demian.
